Can I print from my laptop in the library ?

Yes. To print to the library printer from a laptop or mobile device, the document must be saved as a PDF or as an image file (bmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, and tiff files).

Follow these steps to print:

1. Go to : http://print.ccsnh.edu/user and use your EasyLogin credentials.

2. Select Web Print from the menu on the left and choose Submit a Job. 

3. Select the correct printer : nccpapcut1\CCSNH Print - Black and White (virtual)

4. Choose the number of copies you would like to print and select Upload Documents.

5. Select the file you would like to print (Must be in a PDF format) and select Upload & Complete to send to printer.

6. When the document status is (green) HELD IN QUEUE, go to the library printer and login with your EasyLogin credentials and select PRINT.

You can ask for help at the library service desk.

How can I check if the library has a book?

The Library Catalog shows all of our print books. If you cannot find the book you want, please ask at the service desk or email us. We can borrow books from other libraries.

Can you eat and drink in the library?

What is MFA or multi-factor authentication?

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) increases online security by requiring additional security beyond your password.

Log into the CCSNH Okta Portal using your EasyLogin information
 Go to "Settings" underneath your name in the top-right corner.
Scroll down to the Extra Verification section

How do I borrow a laptop?

Where can I find scholarly (peer-reviewed) articles?

From the search box on the library homepage, a “Peer-Reviewed” button is right beneath it after searching. Also, you can choose the Articles tab and Advanced Search view to limit your results to peer-reviewed.

How do I know if my textbook(s) are on reserve at the library?

Either your professor(s) should let you know or you can ask us directly if we have them. We also have some OER texts available in print form. Ask us about those, too!

How do I copy on the printer? 

  1. Place your paper(s) on top of the printer in the copying slot (front side facing up) 
    1. Note: copying more than 20 pages at a time may cause errors
  2. Logon to the printer using your EasyLogin 
  3. Press “Access Device” 
  4. Press “Copy” 
  5. Adjust your settings based on how many papers you want to copy and how you want them copied 
  6. Press the green button on the right side when ready

Can I find a tutor that helps with topics other than math and writing?

Yes! Some faculty offer in-person tutoring for separate topics, and they should be on the tutoring calendar. But we also offer online tutoring for a wide variety of topics (including topics in business, programming, social sciences, etc.) with a wesbite called Brainfuse. You can find our link in any Canvas course under the “24/7 Tutoring” tab on the left-hand side.

How do I scan on the printer?

  1. Place your paper(s) on top of the scanner underneath the copying slot.

    1. Make sure it’s aligned to the top left corner.

  2. Logon to the printer using your EasyLogin

  3. Press “Scan”

  4. Make sure the file will send to the right email

  5. Press “Start” when ready

How do I request more hours for Brainfuse?

Brainfuse gives you 300 minutes (5 hours) of time on their Live Help tutoring service. If you exceeded that time and still need to use the service, visit https://helpdesk.ccsnh.edu/HomePage.do and log in with your EasyLogin. From there, find the BrainFuse button amongst all the request forms:

From there, fill out the request form to send a ticket to our Help Desk. They will assist you as soon as they can.

What is Brainfuse?

Brainfuse is an online tutoring website that gives students access to 24/7 tutoring on a wide variety of topics. It also has a writing lab where you can submit your papers to be reviewed and critiqued by professionals, flashcard generators, testing guides, and more. To access Brainfuse, go to any Canvas course go to the "24/7 Tutoring" tab.
