Using Zoom for Your NCC Courses: Home

In both online and hybrid classes, your NCC instructors use Zoom, a web-based videoconferencing tool, for class meetings and lectures. You can find a Zoom button inside each Canvas course.

Zoom is used both for holding synchronous classes (in real time) and for recording lectures and presentations that can be viewed later (in asynchronous classes). Classes = meetings in Zoom.

Zoom Accounts for Students

All students now have access to Zoom Pro licensed accounts. With a Pro account, you can schedule meetings without time limits and take advantage of other features. To receive your licensed account please click on the CCSNH Zoom Accounts link and then choose Sign In. Note: Use your EasyLogin not your full email!

NOTE: A Zoom account is not required to participate in a Zoom meeting or class.

For technical assistance, please email the NCC IT Help Desk at nccitsupport@ccsnh.edu.

What Do I Need?

To use Zoom, ideally, you should have

  • a computer with speakers
  • a webcam with microphone (mic)

Headphones that have a microphone will substitute for speakers and mic. You can also use the Zoom app on your phone or mobile device. Check the App Store or Google Play. Read more about Zoom's system requirements on the Zoom website.
