Walter R. Peterson Library and Learning Commons

The Library and Learning Commons in Streeter Hall is a space to study, relax, meet up, use computers and printers and to get help with college assignments. The library also maintains this website that provides 24/7 access to many library resources.

Available Services

  • general information about college offices and services
  • research assistance for assignments and papers
  • guidance on using the library's online books and databases
  • basic technical assistance (with MS Office, printing, Canvas, Zoom)
  • computers including laptops, printers and scanners
  • a tutoring and writing center
  • disability services including testing with accommodations

Accuplacer - for course placement

For information about the Accuplacer test--proctored in the library-- including schedule and sign up form, please see the Admissions website. or contact Stacie Hill. You can take the test remotely--from home--as well.

Visit Our Space

The NCC Library and Learning Commons space -- with computers and printer -- is open to NCC students, staff and faculty. The entrance is off the atrium in Streeter Hall. The space is open and staffed during these hours:

  • M - TH 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM  
  • Friday 8:00 - 4:30 PM
